When staging a bedroom the rule of thumb is to keep it neutral. You don’t want to turn off a potential male buyer with a feminine bedroom, and visa-versa.
Keeping a bedroom neutral doesn’t mean you cant use any color. The bigger items, like the comforter and furniture should be neutral, while accessories and throw pillows can be used to add pops of color. Bright blues are a great gender neutral color.

For a more “Country” feel we used a cream comforter with accents of reds, blues, and yellows. G
Green is one of those colors that doesn’t have specific gender connotation. The pops of green took this monochromatic room from masculine to neutral.
Light greys make for a softer neutral combined with dark wood furnishings.
Beige and black set the neutral tone for this bedroom with pops of greens and bright blues.
Although, sometimes you just gotta throw the rules out the window and have some fun with color!
